No. Children never sign in or create an account — they use the Kidoo mobile app, which is paired to a profile you create and control from this dashboard.
You search YouTube from the Approved Channels page and whitelist specific channels for one child, several, or all of them. Only videos from approved channels ever appear in the Kidoo app.
No. Kidoo removes algorithmic recommendations, comments, and Shorts entirely, so kids only see the approved channels you've chosen.
From a child's profile, generate a QR code (or 6-digit fallback code) that expires after 10 minutes. Scan it in the Kidoo app on your child's device to pair it instantly.
Yes. Set a daily watch time limit and a bedtime window per child, plus defaults that apply automatically to every new profile you create.
Yes. PINs are hashed with Argon2 before they're stored — Kidoo never stores or displays plain-text PINs, even to you.
